Boston—A recent study by the Aberdeen Group found that while 60% of marketers plan to cut their traditional marketing budgets this year, 47% of marketers plan to boost their e-mail marketing budgets. The study, “Recessionary Marketing: How Best-in-Class Companies Are Weathering the Storm,” was based on an online survey of 250 marketers, conducted in January.
