New York—American Business Media President-CEO Gordon Hughes II announced plans for the organization’s 100th anniversary, which will be marked at several events in 2006. The celebration will kick off Jan. 6 with a media event in New York, and the centennial theme will be carried out throughout the year at the organization’s major annual events: the Jesse H. Neal Awards, Spring Meeting, William D. Littleford Awards and Top Management Meeting. Professional development programs will also be tied thematically to the centennial. The year-long celebration will also include a 100th Year Gala Dec. 7 at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.
