Ferrari, who is currently CEO of market and media research firm Erdos & Morgan, will join ABM Oct. 29. He will succeed Claudia Flowers, who joined Questex Media in August as exec VP-corporate development.
Ferrari will be responsible for growing ABM’s membership. As of May, the group had 333 members.
“There will be certain areas of concentration, including Madison Avenue, the Beltway and the financial community,” said Ferrari, who has been CEO of Erdos & Morgan since 2002. “Other areas will be database, event and digital companies, plus traditional.”
Ferrari is a past president of the Business Marketing Association of New York and has also been a member of the board of the American Advertising Federation.
