New York—American Business Media has selected Korn/Ferry International as the executive search firm charged with finding a successor to ABM President-CEO Gordon T. Hughes II.

ABM’s search committee selected Korn/Ferry after reviewing 10 search firms, sources said. Hughes announced last month that he will step down this summer.

Jennifer Carroll and Lorraine Lavet will handle the search for Korn/Ferry.

“Our goal has been to have someone in place before Gordon leaves this summer,” said Peggy Walker, COO of Vance Publishing Corp. and current chairwoman of ABM.
