ABM revamps Neal Awards

New York—American Business Media said Tuesday that it has revamped the Jesse H. Neal National Business Journalism Awards, which recognize excellence in business journalism. The association's editorial committee recently created a subcommittee, led by Bill McDowell, VP-editorial director of the Marketing & Technology Group, to re-evaluate the awards in the digital age. Among the new categories added for the 2010 awards: Best Body of Work by a Single Author, Best Commentary, Best Editorial Tool or Application, Best Editorial Use of Mobile, Best Editorial Use of Social Media, Best Recurring Webcast/Webinar/Podcast.
