Palo Alto, Calif.--Perhaps only the Internet economy could bring together the world's most prestigious buyout firm and the biggest burger flipper. Accel-KKR Internet Co. and McDonald's Corp., Oak Brook, Ill., will start eMac Digital, a stand-alone company that will allow McDonald's franchisees to buy everything from ketchup to grills online. McDonald's CEO Jack Greenberg will serve on the company's board.
