Accenture names new chief marketing officer

New York—Accenture has named Roxanne Taylor chief marketing and communications officer. Taylor was previously managing director of corporate communications at Accenture, and has been with the company since 1995. In her new position, she will be responsible for leading Accenture’s marketing and communications business practice, including image, brand development, media relations, advertising, branding, events, thought leadership and internal communications.

She succeeds Jim Murphy. Murphy announced his retirement from Accenture in order to concentrate on his marketing services firm, Murphy & Co.
