Access Intelligence sells two units to DecisionHealth

Gaithersburg, Md.—Business media, data and events company Access Intelligence has sold two units, Contexo Media and Dorland Health, to DecisionHealth and its parent company UCG. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Contexo Media provides medical coding, billing and compliance data and reference tools to physician practices, hospitals, outpatient facilities and third-party payers. Dorland Health is an integrated publisher of healthcare business information for professionals in care coordination. With the acquisitions, DecisionHealth/UCG becomes one of the largest providers of revenue-cycle-management guidance and tools for healthcare businesses nationwide, according to a statement. Carol Brault, publisher of Dorland Health and Contexo Media, and Jerry Okabe, general manager of Contexo Media, are both moving from Access Intelligence to DecisionHealth as vice presidents.
