Account Planning Group U.S. folded into 4A's

New York--The American Association of Advertising Agencies announced Wednesday that Account Planning Group U.S., a voluntary organization, is being consolidated into the 4A's operations. The APG, whose activities included an annual conference and an awards program, will cease to exist as a separate entity, and its members will become part of the 4A's Account Planning Committee. The annual conference will continue. "Coming back into the fold of the 4A's is really going to improve the services we can offer to account planners," said Cathy Clift, exec VP-director of brand planning at Rapp Collins Worldwide, and co-chair of the Account Planning Committee.
