Accrue debuts new Web data platform

Published on .

Fremont, Calif.--Accrue Software Inc. said Tuesday it has released a new platform called Accrue G2, which it says can analyze more Web data of higher complexity than ever before. The Fremont, Calif.-based company says the new product is designed to replace its current Web traffic analysis products, which command about 11% of the market, with a customer relationship management platform that runs on parallel processors. Accrue will concentrate much of its marketing for G2--named after the code-word for military intelligence--on systems integrators, including offering licenses to firms willing to customize the software for specific vertical industries. The average price of an Accrue system is about $250,000.
