Seattle, Wash.—Active Voice, a unified messaging, voice mail and speech-activated services company, announced it will introduce VideoMail, a new technology that will be integrated with its Kinesis 3.0 messaging platform this summer.

Active Voice said VideoMail will enable users to create and deliver video across an enterprise via e-mail; it will also enable collaboration with partners and colleagues in a non-real-time setting. For example, a Web designer using a Web authoring package to develop animation can capture a live screen interaction using VideoMail and then e-mail the message to a customer. “Active Voice is excited to offer this first-of-its-kind VideoMail feature to the global business community,” said Eyal Inbar, general manager, marketing, Active Voice, in a statement. “For the organization, VideoMail means a much quicker turnaround time on open issues being addressed through messaging.”
