Greenbelt, Md.—Acuity Mobile and Acxiom Corp. announced a partnership to provide a new mobile marketing platform based on customer behavioral data.

Acuity provides targeted wireless marketing services, and Acxiom delivers customer information management and technology.

Under the partnership, customer data from Acxiom will be incorporated into Acuity’s Embedded Mobile Advertising Platform to help marketers deliver targeted messages to mobile users.

The system will help deliver opt-in content to users based on preferences, time, context and location, according to the companies.
