Little Rock, Ark.--Database management and integration company Acxiom Corp. will cut 400 jobs, or 7% of its work force. The news came as Acxiom announced that it expects an operating loss of between $3 million and $6 million for the fiscal first quarter ending June 30. "Despite strong competitive viability of our products and services in the marketplace, good company fundamentals and previous cost-reduction programs, Acxiom's business performance continues to be significantly impacted by the severe economic downturn," said Company Leader Charles D. Morgan.
