Ad Pepper Media introduces ‘smart’ ad placement technology to the U.S.

Published on .

Nuremberg, Germany—Online marketing company Ad Pepper Media is introducing its iSense Network to the U.S. The iSense Network relies on semantic linguistic technology to serve ads that are properly related to the content of the Web page.

By analyzing combinations of words, the technology determines the appropriate ad to display on a page. According to the company, the level of accuracy for ad placement is between 95% and 98% when Web pages are properly constructed.

Initially launched in the U.K. in January 2008, iSense serves up ads from more than 200 clients in Europe, including 3M, EMI, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, HSBC, Microsoft Corp. and T-Mobile. It’s also used by such agencies as Mediacom, Media Planning, Mindshare, OMD and Universal McCann.
