New York—Ad revenue for business publications grew 0.98% through October compared with the same period in 2005, according to figures released Tuesday by American Business Media’s Business Information Network (BIN). Ad pages rose 0.91% in the same period.
Some of the stronger ad revenue categories through October included architecture, design and lighting (up 11.3%); aviation, aerospace and military (up 9.1%) and resources, environment, utilities (up 8.4%). Weaker categories included restaurants, foodservice, lodging and gaming (down 7%); computing, software, telecommunications (down 5.4%); and transportation and logistics (down 4.7%).
Ad revenue was up 0.65% in October, while ad pages fell 2.2%.
