AdForum reports corporate communications searches up 77% in 2004

New York—Searches for corporate communications agencies were up 77% in 2004 over 2003, according to AdForum.com, a resource directory of services for the advertising and marketing community.

Searches for brand and product development were up 56% in 2004, and searches for packaging and design services were up 18% for the year.

Areas that showed a decline in search activity were marketing services (down 28%), interactive services (down 8%) and media buying and planning (down 7%).
