Adobe buys marketing tech company Efficient Frontier

San Jose, Calif.—Adobe Systems has acquired online advertising and marketing technology company Efficient Frontier. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Adobe said Efficient Frontier technology, whose algorithms predict Facebook ad campaign results, will add campaign forecasting, execution and optimization capabilities to Adobe's Digital Marketing Suite, which is powered by Omniture, the company Adobe bought in 2009.
