San Jose, Calif.—Graphic design and software company Adobe Systems has taken another step to augment its online marketing capabilities, buying video ad management company Auditude. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Auditude's software helps publisher and media companies' content management tools create video ads for multiple screens. It is expected that the technology will be added to the marketing automation tools Adobe acquired in its 2009 purchase of Omniture.
With the acquisition, the company will be able to offer “an unparalleled platform for authoring, distributing, analyzing and monetizing digital video experiences,” Adobe said in a statement.
