Adobe Creative Suite blends in Omniture analytics

San Jose, Calif.—Adobe Systems has blended into its newly released Adobe Creative Suite 5 the Web analytics and optimization technologies of Omniture Inc., which Adobe acquired for $1.8 billion in September.

Adobe, the maker of Acrobat, Flash and Photoshop software, said combining Omniture’s Web analytics application SiteCatalyst and behavioral targeting solution Test&Target into Adobe CS “further simplifies processes and frees marketers to focus more on marketing.”

Also newly available through Adobe CS is Omniture’s SiteCatalyst NetAverages, an online service that provides benchmarking data for Internet and mobile usage, to help optimize content creation.
