AdOutlet promises private labels

New York--AdOutlet.com Inc. has announced plans to focus on private-branded exchanges and development of software for managing advertising sales departments. The move means AdOutlet is diverting from its Internet advertising exchange business to become more of a technology company. AdOutlet said it expects its software will be most in demand by cable TV and broadcast TV and radio station groups. It will continue to run its marketplace exchange but will license the software code used to run that exchange to companies seeking their own private-label business.
