Advertising.com introduces new advertising platform

Published on .

Advertising.com, Baltimore, introduced on Thursday what's called Ad-OSSM, a new operating system for managing campaigns. The company, which is forging ground in the b-to-b advertising space, says its software allows marketing managers to deliver large-scale campaigns quickly. As important, Advertising.com says it can coordinate Internet banners, e-mail and wireless advertisements from a single interface. The software is designed to give Advertising.com a leg up on such competitors as DoubleClick Inc., 24/7 Media and Engage as the advertising market broadens from brand builders to return-on-investment-oriented direct marketers.
