Published on .

Southfield, Mich.--The automotive industry's secure private Internet is being sold. The Automotive Industry Action Group, Southfield, Mich., said Wednesday it has reached an agreement to sell all assets and operations of Automotive Network eXchange (ANX) to the research and engineering company Science Applications International Corp., San Diego, which had revenue of $4.7 billion in fiscal 1998. Terms of the deal were undisclosed. The move means SAIC will be able to leverage the techniques used by ANX to other industries. About 275 trading partners are current ANX members.
