AKQA announces leadership changes

San Francisco—Full-service advertising agency AKQA has named Andrew O’Dell president-interactive advertising. O’Dell was previously senior VP at the agency. Stuart Sproule was promoted to managing director, San Francisco, from director of client services. He will lead the San Francisco office, which handles accounts including Visa USA, Nike, Palm Inc. and Microsoft Corp.’s Xbox. The agency also announced that Guy Wieynk has been promoted to director of client services. He previously led the global Microsoft Xbox account. In his new role, he will continue to oversee the Xbox account and lead AKQA’s interface design team.
