Alias/Wavefront has audio-video for Linux

Toronto--Alias/Wavefront, a Toronto-based division of Silicon Graphics Inc., said Friday that it has shipped its Maya line of products for audio-video development, which use the Linux operating system. The company said the products, priced beginning at $2,995, allow developers to put together interactive media, industrial design and other projects that use three-dimensional graphics.
