Alliance of Area Business Publications announces 2005 editorial excellence award winners

Los Angeles—Twin Cities Business Monthly was named best magazine in the Alliance of Area Business Publications’ 2005 Alliance Editorial Excellence Awards. Mainebiz was named Best Newspaper: Small Tabloids, and Los Angeles Business Journal was honored as the Best Newspaper: Large Tabloids.

Crain's Cleveland Business was recognized as the Most Improved Publication. Best Web site went to Crain's Chicago Business (www.chicagobusiness.com). Crain's Cleveland Business  and Crain's Chicago Business are sibling publications of BtoB.

Best Cover, Magazine went to Florida Trend, and Best Front Page, Newspaper went to Baton Rouge Business Report.

The awards were among 90 presented Saturday during the Alliance of Area Business Publications' three-day annual Summer Conference in Detroit.
