Little Rock, Ark.--Telecommunications company Alltel said Tuesday that it will resell Cisco customer support and inbound e-mail management systems as part of its suite of customer-facing applications and services. Alltel plans to offer Cisco's Customer Interaction Suite as an integrated piece of its Call Center Workstation applications. Combined, they allow corporations to manage call center inquiries, e-mail, simultaneous browsing and completion of Web-based forms. The two applications allow customers and sales representatives to see Web pages and fill out Internet forms simultaneously. Alltel expects financial services institutions to drive initial sales.
