ALM promotes Press to senior VP

New York—Aric Press has been promoted to senior VP-editor in chief at ALM, a new position at the media company. He had been VP-editor in chief since 2010. David Brown, executive editor at ALM and editor in chief of The National Law Journal, is assuming Press' former title and responsibilities. Press, the 2012 recipient of American Business Media's G.D. Crain Jr. Award for career achievement, will focus on expanding ALM's Legal Intelligence business, said Bill Carter, president-CEO of ALM, in a statement.
