Alsop named editor of Crain's ‘Workforce Management'

Chicago—Crain Communications Inc. announced Monday that Ron Alsop has been named editor of Workforce Management. A former editor and columnist at The Wall Street Journal, Alsop is the author of eight books, including “The Trophy Kids Grow Up: How the Millennial Generation Is Shaking Up the Workplace.”

“As a broad-based, seasoned editor, Ron has the experience to sustain our position as the leading source of news and information for human resource leaders, while his significant work covering work bforce management trends and issues further strengthens our expertise in the field,” Todd Johnson, VP-publisher of Workforce Management, said in a statement.

Workforce Management also announced that it has promoted Rick Bell to managing editor and Ed Frauenheim to senior editor.
