Alterian integrates Web content management with e-mail marketing

Chicago—Marketing database company Alterian has completed the first stage of integration between two Web content management products that came with its acquisition of Mediasurface in July. The products, Immediacy and Morello, have been integrated with Alterian’s Integrated Marketing Platform.

In addition, Dynamic Messenger, Alterian’s e-mail marketing application, is now integrated with and able to use digital content stored within both Immediacy and Morello to execute e-mail marketing campaigns.

The resulting offering, branded as Alterian Engage, reduces duplication of content across multiple systems in the marketing department, simplifies the work flow process required to deliver e-mail campaigns and reduces the time needed from initial marketing idea to campaign execution, according to the company.

Alterian also announced the first contract for the integrated solution from London-based Reading Room, an international digital agency and also an Immediacy user.
