Seattle—Amazon.com Inc. has entered the daily deals market made popular by such companies as Groupon and LivingSocial. Amazon's new Myhabit service will offer high-end apparel for men and women featuring an “until it runs out” model used by cable TV shopping shows.
AT&T Inc. also is jumping into the daily deals fray, eyeing a June launch of a Deal of the Day service on its Yellow Pages subsidiary website.
The daily deals arena is getting crowded. This month, b-to-b-focused RapidBuyr and Local.com expanded their service,
and last month, Facebook Deals
and Google Offers
made their debuts.
