American Business debuts standard registration firm

New York-American Business Media said Monday that it has developed a standard template for collecting opt-in visitor information, which it said complies with accepted privacy standards. Available at http://regserver.bpai.com, the form can be used by publishers to allow people to opt out of news services or the sale of their name to third-party marketers. The ABM, New York, worked with ad-serving and representation company B2BWorks, auditing firm BPA International and b-to-b listing management company Database Marketing Concepts to develop the standards.
