American City Business Journals redesigns Web sites

Charlotte, N.C.--bizjournals, the new-media division of American City Business Journals, has launched a redesign of its 43 publication Web sites.

The sites, which reach about 250,000 unique users, are increasing their coverage of local business and community news and have added new features for advertisers.

The sites are accepting larger ad units such as the 160x600 “super tower” and most other units in the Interactive Advertising Bureau Universal Ad Package.

In addition, the sites now accept rich-media ads from Point Roll, Unicast, EyeBlaster and Shoshkeles. Finally, bizjournals has developed a new ad package of local site banners in combination with ads inserted into periodic regional e-mails.
