American Express OPEN wins Best in Show at IAB Mixx Awards

New York—American Express OPEN and its agencies—Crispin Porter+Bogusky, Boulder, Colo., and Digitas New York—won Best in Show at the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Mixx Awards for the “Small Business Saturday” campaign. The campaign, which drove retail sales for small businesses the day after Thanksgiving, also took home a gold award in the brand awareness and positioning category. The Mixx Awards, presented Tuesday night at a ceremony in New York, recognize creativity and impact in interactive advertising. IBM Corp. and Ogilvy New York took home a gold award for best b-to-b campaign for IBM Corp.'s “The Smarter City” campaign. This campaign also won gold in the digital integration category.
