New York-American Lawyer Media Inc., a legal journalism and information company, on Wednesday announced the acquisition of two leading legal trade shows in the United Kingdom from Nationwide Exhibitions Ltd. Under the agreement, American Lawyer has obtained the rights to and related assets of the National Legal Office and Legal Services Exhibition and The National Accountability Exhibition. Together, the two events attracted 6,000 professional attendees and more than 2,000 exhibitors in 2000.
