AmEx OPEN, Facebook launch Big Break for Small Business contest

New York—American Express OPEN and Facebook have partnered to roll out their second annual Big Break for Small Business contest. The national contest is designed to help small businesses connect and engage with customers online. Businesses may enter at www.facebook.com/OPEN via an online entry form, and 10 finalists will be selected by judges. American Express OPEN Facebook fans will then vote on their favorite small businesses and the winners will receive marketing makeovers and $25,000 in cash to spend on social media programs. All American Express OPEN card members and merchants that enter will receive $100 in Facebook advertising credits.
