AOL to debut AOL Industry covering energy, defense and government

Chicago—AOL, which has been making big changes to its business in the wake of its acquisition of Huffington Post, plans to launch a b-to-b venture this year. Called AOL Industry, the news and data product will cover the energy, defense and government sectors.

Jay Kirsch is VP-general manager of AOL Industry; he was previously president-CEO of Imaginova Corp.

AOL declined to comment about the new venture.
