Dulles, Va.--America Online Inc. Monday announced the launch of AOL for Small Business.

The new service will feature domain registration, business e-mail and Web site creation and management tools through the company's partnership with VeriSign. It will offer news content, round-the-clock customer service and features that allow users to chat with other small-business owners.

AOL for Small Business will be available to existing members at no additional charge. Download discs will be available at retail office supply stores.

The new service was created in response to "feedback from millions of current AOL small-business members," according to a statement.
