Cannes, France—AOL announced partnerships with several media properties to roll out the Interactive Advertising Bureau's Portrait ad unit across their digital platforms. Pictela, a division of AOL's Advertising.com business, is partnering with Fox News, Meredith Corp., Variety
, The Wall Street Journal
and the Weather Channel to deploy the ad unit on their digital properties. Portrait is a large-scale, banner format that offers advertisers rich media capabilities. It was introduced as a standard ad format by the IAB in September. The announcement was made at the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity.
