Chicago--Aon Corp., one of the world's largest insurance brokerages, and Houston-based Inc., an online salvage auction for manufacturers, have entered an expansive b-to-b marketing pact. Aon will advise its network of clients-a good many of which are Fortune 500-of SalvageSale's services. For Aon, it's a clear indication that the company, one of the world's most powerful insurance brokerages, intends to rely on partnerships in addition to its own in-house e-commerce initiatives. SalvageSale gets de facto access to Aon's marketing network.
