Apple wins Grand Effie

New York—Apple Computer Co. and its agency, TBWA/Chiat/Day, won the Grand Effie Award from the New York American Marketing Association for its iPod "Silhouettes" campaign. In the sustained success category, which recognizes achievement of results in the marketplace for five or more years, IBM Corp. and Ogilvy & Mather won a Gold Effie for the "E-business on Demand" campaign.

In the computer software category, Cisco Systems and Ogilvy & Mather won a Gold Effie for Cisco’s "The Self-Defending Network" campaign. IBM Corp. and Ogilvy & Mather won a Bronze Effie for the Linux "Prodigy" campaign.
