Indianapolis—Aprimo, an enterprise marketing management provider, on Tuesday announced it has acquired DoubleClick’s enterprise marketing solutions business unit. The unit includes marketing software products SmartPath and Ensemble. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition significantly increases Aprimo’s customer base and strengthens its presence in verticals such as retail and telecommunications, according to the company.
While DoubleClick recently signed an agreement to be acquired by an affiliate of Hellman and Friedman and JMI Equity, the sale of the unit is separate from that transaction.
