Indianapolis--Aprimo Inc. has landed Clarus Corp. and Parametric Technology Corp. as customers of its Internet-based system for managing all of the operations of a corporate marketing department. The wins are the latest in a string of customer victories for Aprimo, which is one of only a handful of vendors that provide applications allowing corporate marketing executives to delegate authority for trade show, direct mail, print and broadcast advertising development and execution. The wins are significant because many of Aprimo's early wins were among consumer companies. Clarus and Parametric are primarily b-to-b companies that sell software to information technology buyers. Parametric executives said they believe Aprimo will save them 20% of the cost of running seminars.
