Indianapolis--Software developer Aprimo announced Monday it plans to launch an Internet site this year that will support buyers and sellers of marketing products and services. The site, to be called Aprimo On-line Marketplace, will include three services: a supplier network, rental of Aprimo software and news content. Aprimo (www.aprimo.com) is one to watch. Its flagship product, Aprimo Marketing, debuted in October and already counts Agilent Technologies and PricewaterhouseCoopers among its 16 customers. Priced at $100,000 for 20 users, Aprimo Marketing is used to manage corporate marketing departments, including strategic planning, advertising campaigns and analysis of campaign efficacy. Adding to momentum last month, Aprimo named Leo Burnett Co. Exec VP James Thompson to its directing board.
