Arbitron hires Skarzynski as president-CEO

New York—Radio audience research company Arbitron has named Michael P. Skarzynski president-CEO, succeeding longtime chief Steven Morris, who will continue to serve as board chairman.

Most recently, Skarzynski served as CEO of Iptivia, a privately held performance management software company based in New York. He also held executive positions with Lucent and AT&T Network Systems.

Skarzynski served in the administration of President George H.W. Bush as assistant secretary for trade development and chief of staff at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
