ARF names Plummer chief research officer

New York—The Advertising Research Foundation has appointed Joseph Plummer as chief research officer. Plummer is currently exec VP- director of research & insight development for McCann-Erickson WorldGroup. As the ARF's chief research officer, Plummer will be responsible for "daily oversight on all research matters of import to the industry, the ARF and its members," according to a press release. Prior to joining McCann-Erickson in 1997, Plummer was vice chairman-worldwide planning director at DMB&B.
