Published on .

Hopkington, Mass.--EMC Corp. announced Thursday that Arnold Communications, Boston, will handle its estimated $10 million-$15 million North American advertising account. Michael Ruettgers, EMC president-CEO, said in a statement that Arnold was chosen ``to build the EMC brand and increase awareness of enterprise storage solutions in today's connected world.'' Arnold, a $750 million agency and a division of Snyder Communications, is noted for the hip TV spots it created for Volkswagen featuring Generation Xers and old pop songs. Arnold beat out Bozell Worldwide and Doremus, both New York, to win the account. Mullen, Wenham, Mass., was the incumbent.
