ASBPE honors ‘The Scientist,’ ‘Restaurants & Institutions’

Kansas City, Mo.—The Scientist (in the less than 80,000 circulation category) and Restaurants & Institutions (more than 80,000) were named magazines of the year by the American Society of Business Publication Editors.

The awards were announced during the ASBPE National Editorial Conference.

Computerworld.com won Web site of the year, and Network World won in the multiplatform category.

FleetOwner’ s David Cullen won the Stephen Barr Award for feature writing. Abe Peck, a longtime Northwestern University professor and editorial consultant, won the organization’s lifetime achievement award.
