Ascentium rebrands as Smith

Seattle—Customer engagement agency Ascentium, Seattle, announced it is rebranding as Smith, following its acquisition of digital commerce company Cactus Commerce last year. “The term "Smith' has long connoted a specialized craftsman defined by his or her trade,” said Steve Farrell, chief creative officer at Smith. “We are focused on becoming the "Smiths' of technology and creative for brands in the digital age.” The agency serves clients including Cisco Systems, Microsoft Corp., MasterCard and Xerox Corp.
