Ashe leaving CBS Interactive

Published on .

San Francisco—CBS Interactive has confirmed that President Neil Ashe is leaving the company.

“Neil has helped make CBSi into the successful and profitable business it is today,” the company said in a statement. “Looking out into 2011, we are working on a relaxed time frame to name a successor to his post, as he embarks on his next great thing.”

At CBS Interactive, Ashe oversaw a number of b-to-b brands, such as BNET, CNET, TechRepublic and ZDNet. He came to CBS Interactive with the unit's $1.8 billion acquisition of CNET Networks in 2008.
