ASI reports increase in promotional product sales

Trevose, Pa.--The Advertising Specialty Institute reported that promotional product sales increased from $15.6 billion in 2002 to $16.1 billion in 2003.

The ASI defines promotional product as an item imprinted with a logo and then distributed at no charge.

The figures released by ASI are based on sales information provided by its members that sell promotional products. The organization has 20,000 members.
